Hace poco yo he aprendido la historia de los galgos, y no he podido seguir con mi vida normal sin hacer nada.
Entonces empece de escribir. Desde ese dia hasta ahora, un montón de cartas están ya en camino para algunos programas de la tele aquí en España, en Inglaterra y en America. Tenia una carta publicada por el periodico SUR en Malaga, y The Inland Trader, quien me han dado un sitio para seguir escribiendo para que el publico despiertan de esto.
En Leapstory.com la misma carta, Y muchas más! No puedo parar de escribir por que es algo muy fácil para mí si tengo pasión por algo.
Hemos tenido donativos, aún que son pocos, pero algo. Un galgo adoptado que está ya en Marbella - y no sé si hay mas adoptados porque en cada carta lo pongo las asociaciones para que la gente pueden ponerse en contacto directamente. Lo sé lo que dices sobre los galgos, cuando uno tiene uno, otro está llamando para acompañarse. Estoy en la PRE adopción de unos de los bebes de ddevida, pero lo sé cuando mudamos a una casa más grande estoy seguro adoptamos otro vez. .. y todavia no han llegado mi bebe!!!! Y qué bonito es.
Él no sabe lo que se espera, abrazos muy abiertos una familia que somos amantes de los animales, una sofá, con 2 gatos un perrito y 3 niños. Él van a tener su mundo llena de amor. Si quieres poner mi carta en la pagina web, no sé, como pueden cambiar la vida de una persona cuando conocen la historia de los galgos, yo te digo -cada segundo estoy aquí escribiendo alguien sobre los galgos. Son los únicos canines en la biblia, es por algo!

CARTA DENUNCIA DE LA SITUACIÓN DE LOS GALGOS EN ESPAÑA
The Spanish greyhounds need help!
I am an animal lover who has come across the most destructive way of keepingan animal. It is with this that I make my plea. The Spanish galgo(greyhound) needs help to overcome this massive abuse, and I am calling onall animal lovers to help.
The galgo is used in hunting, as is the podenco and spaniel. However thegalgo breed is in despair. They are kept in the most horrendous conditionsyou could ever imagine: derelict houses, in the cold, concrete sheds, holesin the ground and covered over so they cannot escape or be heard. They arebred in holes in the ground, starved beyond imagination, beaten and kicked.
But it does not end there. At the end of the hunting season the galgosocieties take on the difficult task of finding them clinging to life,dangling from trees. These dogs are discarded once the season has finished;they are, to the hunter, replaceable. So they get hung!
Yes hung! Wires are put round their necks and if they have shamed the hunterthey have a slow death, feet skimming the ground - days, hours pass beforedeath takes them.
Some are hung higher - an unimaginable torture - or burnt, beaten and dumpedin wells. Some luckier ones escape; some are abandoned to live on thestreets. Thousands of galgos are taken in, clinging to life, by a number ofsocieties. They are nursed, patched back together, and homes are looked for.
I am calling on you to look at the “galgos sin fronteras” or “ddevida”websites. Look at the videos, the pictures, and don’t turn away. They needdonations, (vet care is expensive in these conditions) or if you sew you canmake coats for the dogs; they also need leashes, bowls, medication. If youare considering adopting a dog, consider the sweet docile galgo. Put a galgoin your life, and you won’t regret it! When you see the for real how thesedogs get treated, that’s when you will want to help. This won’t stop or goaway.
You can sign peticions on asanda.org against hunting with galgos: youdon’t even have to leave your computer, if you can’t do anything else, thatwill help. Then pass it on!
Please don’t turn away, man’s best friend is being let down by man! Pleasehelp make a differance. The societies are like guardian angels and they needhelp, to help the galgos. Let’s do all we can to let the Spanish galgo riseback up into society and become a household pet!
